Worn for a Reason
Every design here comes from a tradition: a mantra for calm, a dragon for strength, a guardian to keep watch. On your hand, it becomes a small reminder you see many times a day.

It is showing you every tooth it has.
This is a shishi (石獅), the lion that sits at the gate. There is a pair of them outside temples, banks and old family houses across China, one with a paw on a ball, one with a paw on a cub, both with their mouths open. In the West they get called foo dogs. They are not there to be looked at. They are there so that whatever is outside knows it has been seen.
The open mouth is the whole design. A gate lion roars because the roar is the job, and the tradition puts everything into the face: the squared teeth, the fangs at the corners, the bulging eyes, and a mane cut into spirals so the light moves through it as your hand moves.
For anyone whose job is standing between something and the people behind them. It is a threshold creature. The threshold is where it belongs and that is not a subtle thing to wear.
The band is wide, and the width is what gives the mane and the jaw room to be cut deep enough to hold shadow.
Getting the size right
Measure, then go up one. A wide band sits tighter than a narrow one at the same nominal size.
Looking after stainless steel
Nothing. No polishing, no taking it off for water, no green mark on your finger. The dark tone sitting in the recesses is the steel itself rather than a coating, so there is nothing on it that can wear off. A cloth if it dulls.
It will outlast the person you give it to, which is either reassuring or not depending on your temperament.

Rings that come in sizes have a Size Guide link under the size options. It shows how to measure your finger with a piece of string and matches the result to US, UK and EU sizes. Rings without size options are adjustable or one size, and the Specifications say which.
Send it back within 30 days. Open-band rings can also be adjusted by gently squeezing or widening the band.
Only when the listing says 925. Tibetan silver is a silver-coloured alloy, and we name the exact metal in the Specifications on every ring.
Tibetan silver darkens gradually with wear, which most people prefer, and a soft cloth brightens it again. Stainless steel does not fade or tarnish.
Stainless steel rings are fine in water. Take off Tibetan silver, gold-toned and stone-set rings before washing up, swimming or using hand cream.
