Six syllables, and each one is a different colour.
Om is white, ma green, ni yellow, pad blue, me red, hum black. Each syllable is matched to one of the six realms a being can be reborn into, and the teaching is that saying the mantra closes the door on each of them in turn. Which is why it is six and not five or seven, and why the order does not change.
Om mani padme hum is the most spoken sentence in Tibetan Buddhism. Most people who say it could not give you a clean translation, and that is not the point of it.
Here it runs right around the band in Tibetan script, with a red garnet set at the face.

How do I find my ring size?
Rings that come in sizes have a Size Guide link under the size options. It shows how to measure your finger with a piece of string and matches the result to US, UK and EU sizes. Rings without size options are adjustable or one size, and the Specifications say which.
What if it does not fit?
Send it back within 30 days. Open-band rings can also be adjusted by gently squeezing or widening the band.
Is it real silver?
Only when the listing says 925. Tibetan silver is a silver-coloured alloy, and we name the exact metal in the Specifications on every ring.
Will it tarnish or change colour?
Tibetan silver darkens gradually with wear, which most people prefer, and a soft cloth brightens it again. Stainless steel does not fade or tarnish.
Can I wear it in water?
Stainless steel rings are fine in water. Take off Tibetan silver, gold-toned and stone-set rings before washing up, swimming or using hand cream.
