The sutra is on the inside.
Turn the ring over and the whole of the Heart Sutra is there, some two hundred and sixty characters set in a grid across the inner face, with the title 心經 marking where it begins. Worn, it faces your skin. Nobody sees it, including you, most of the time. What everyone else gets is the lotus.
That lotus is cut deep, petals lapping over petals, with the seed pod open at the centre and a beaded stem running down under the flower. The pod is the part worth noticing. The lotus is the one plant that carries its flower and its fruit at the same moment, which is why Buddhism reaches for it to say that cause and effect are not two separate things. 花果同時, flower and fruit together.
The Heart Sutra is the short one. Two hundred and sixty characters against the thousands in the long sutras, which is why it is the text that ends up carved on objects while the others stay in books. Monks memorise it as a matter of course. What it argues is that form is emptiness and emptiness is form, and that there is nothing to grip. A strange and useful thing to have running round a finger.
For anyone who has a practice and would rather carry it than display it. It is a wide band: chunky on a slim hand, ordinary on a broad one. The photographs show it worn both ways.
Open band, so there is no size to get wrong. Squeeze gently to tighten, widen to loosen, then set it once and leave it. Repeated bending is what tires silver out. The antiquing in the recesses is what makes both the lotus and the script legible, so polish the raised surfaces and leave the dark alone.

Rings that come in sizes have a Size Guide link under the size options. It shows how to measure your finger with a piece of string and matches the result to US, UK and EU sizes. Rings without size options are adjustable or one size, and the Specifications say which.
Send it back within 30 days. Open-band rings can also be adjusted by gently squeezing or widening the band.
Only when the listing says 925. Tibetan silver is a silver-coloured alloy, and we name the exact metal in the Specifications on every ring.
Tibetan silver darkens gradually with wear, which most people prefer, and a soft cloth brightens it again. Stainless steel does not fade or tarnish.
Stainless steel rings are fine in water. Take off Tibetan silver, gold-toned and stone-set rings before washing up, swimming or using hand cream.
