Most of the day it is a plain grey band. Then you turn your wrist.
Labradorite is the stone of what lies underneath. It is worn for intuition and for the kind of protection that is not obvious, and the flash is the whole argument: a stone that looks like nothing at all until the light finds the angle, and then holds a blue nobody expected was in there.
Inuit tradition on the Labrador coast, where the stone was named, holds that the northern lights were once caught inside the rock and that a man struck it with a spear and let most of them out. What is left in the stone is the part that did not escape.
Beside it sits black tourmaline, which is the shield. The boundary stone, worn between you and whatever is coming at you.
So one guards the outside and the other works on what you can already sense and have not admitted yet.

Wearing & Care
Labradorite is softer than quartz and the facet edges are where it will chip, so keep it clear of hard knocks. Stretch cords slacken over a year or two and restringing is cheap.
Ten lengths, which is a wider run than most bracelets offer, so it fits wrists that usually get left out.

Are the bracelets handmade?
Yes. Every bracelet is handcrafted by our artisans. It is also why we can make one to fit you: leave your wrist measurement as a note in your cart and we will do our best.
How do I find my size?
Open the Size Guide above the Add to cart button. Wrap a piece of string around your wrist, lay it flat and measure it, then match the number to S, M, L or XL. Between two sizes, take the larger one.
Are the stones real?
Yes. Every bead is cut from genuine natural stone, never dyed glass or resin.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Close, but never identical. Natural stone varies in colour and banding from bead to bead, which is how you know it is real.
What if it does not fit?
Send it back within 30 days of delivery.
