A pendant rests against the chest, over a shirt or under it, where you feel it through the day. Every design here carries a meaning from tradition: a Buddha for calm, a dragon for strength, jade for protection.

The animal sitting on top of a Chinese seal is not decoration. It is the handle.
Seals are held by the knob, so the knob got carved into a creature, and then the creature became a rank. The emperor's seals took dragons. Officials below him were assigned tortoises, tigers or camels according to grade, and using the wrong animal on your own seal was not a style error. You can still date and place a seal by what is sitting on it.
This one carries Pixiu, which in the folk reading swallows wealth and cannot pass it back.
The base is a plain square block of white jade, and it is uncut. An uncarved seal is one that has not been given a name yet, which is either an unfinished object or the most personal one here, depending on how you look at it.
For anyone who signs things, or would like to. It reads as a small piece of desk equipment worn round the neck, which is a different idea from an amulet.
Kept on rather than put away, which is the tradition. Natural stone, so the tone of the block varies piece to piece. A soft cloth is all it needs, and the gold-tone finish is matte by design, so do not try to polish it bright.
A good gift for somebody starting a business, where a plain wealth charm would be too blunt and a seal says something about authorship.

Every necklace lists its chain or cord length in the Specifications. As a guide, 45 cm sits on the collarbone and 60 cm on the upper chest. The Length Guide above the Add to cart button shows both.
When the Specifications say natural jadeite, jade, agate, chalcedony or obsidian, that is what it is. The exact material of every piece is named there, including the metal and any plating.
Close, but not identical. Natural stone differs in colour and marking from piece to piece, and hand carving varies a little too.
Yes. Stainless steel can be worn in water. Jade and other stone can stay on through the day, but take it off before sport or anything involving impact. Keep enamel and plated pieces away from water, perfume and abrasion.
