招財貓, the wealth-calling cat. The name promises money. The paw says otherwise.
Which paw is raised decides what the cat calls in, and the two are not the same thing. Right paw raised calls money. Left paw raised calls people. Look at the carving. The raised paw sits on your right as you face it, which is the cat's left, so this one is named for wealth and carved for custom.
It is small, roughly two fingers wide. Twenty two millimetres tall, and the photograph of it lying in a hand is the honest one. It sits high on the chest and reads as a detail rather than a statement, which is the point of it.
For anyone opening something. A shop, a practice, a studio, a first desk in a new city. It is also the least solemn thing here, and there are people for whom a dragon or a Buddha would be far too much.

Wearing & Care
Jade is traditionally kept on rather than taken off, and it does take a polish from skin over the years. The cord slips over the head with no clasp, with a red agate bead sitting above the pendant. A soft cloth is all it needs if it dulls. Jadeite is tough but it will chip against a hard edge, so take it off for anything that involves hitting things.

How long is it, and where will it sit?
Every necklace lists its chain or cord length in the Specifications. As a guide, 45 cm sits on the collarbone and 60 cm on the upper chest. The Length Guide above the Add to cart button shows both.
Is the stone real?
When the Specifications say natural jadeite, jade, agate, chalcedony or obsidian, that is what it is. The exact material of every piece is named there, including the metal and any plating.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Natural stone differs in colour and marking from piece to piece, and hand carving varies a little too.
Can I wear it every day?
Yes. Stainless steel can be worn in water. Jade and other stone can stay on through the day, but take it off before sport or anything involving impact. Keep enamel and plated pieces away from water, perfume and abrasion.
