Under the dragon's throat there is one scale that lies the wrong way round.
The nilin (逆鱗), the reverse scale. Chinese texts say a dragon will tolerate being ridden, but touch that one scale and it kills you. It turned into a figure of speech that is still in use: everyone has a nilin, the single subject you do not raise with them. Han Feizi (韓非子) used it to warn officials about how to advise a king and stay alive.
So a band made entirely of scales is carrying more implication than it looks like it is.
They also move. The band is linked, so it flexes and shifts as your wrist turns and the scales catch light at different angles as they go. It behaves more like something living than a bracelet usually does. It closes with a toggle: the dragon holds a ring in its jaws, the tail end is the bar, and the bar drops through the ring to fasten it. Nothing about the closure is tucked out of sight, which is the point, because it is the part of the bracelet people look at first.
For anyone who has found bracelets static and a bit dead on the wrist. This one does something when you move.
Nothing to maintain and no plating to wear through. Linked bracelets can catch on knitwear, which is the one thing to watch.
Toggles are worth understanding before you order. The weight of the band is what keeps the bar seated, so the fit needs to be close. Measure properly and take the size that fits rather than the one above it, because a toggle worn loose is the only way this comes off on its own.
The dragon holding the ring in its jaws is the detail people notice second, once they have stopped looking at the scales.
Cuffs and sliding-knot cords are adjustable. Set a cuff once by gently squeezing or widening it, then slide it on from the side. Pull the knots on a cord until it sits right.
Chain and clasp bracelets come in set lengths: measure your wrist and add about 1.5cm / 0.6in. Bangles cannot be resized, so read the sizing note under Details before you order.

Cuffs and sliding-knot cords adjust to fit. Chain and clasp bracelets come in set lengths, so measure your wrist and add about 1.5cm / 0.6in. The Sizing section above has the detail.
The exact material of every bracelet is named under Details on this page, whether that is Tibetan silver, stainless steel, cotton cord, wood or stone.
Tibetan silver darkens gradually with wear, and a soft cloth brightens it again. Stainless steel does not fade or tarnish. Cotton cord softens and fades with wear, which is the life it is meant to have.
Stainless steel is fine in water. Take off Tibetan silver, plated, wooden and stone bracelets before swimming or washing up. A plain cord can stay on, though water softens and fades it faster.
Send it back within 30 days of delivery. Open cuffs can also be adjusted by gently squeezing or widening the band.
